With great pleasure Cayucos Waves provides a free place for the local tribe to check out the days Surf Sessions.
To do this hours are spent on the beach and in the studio. The biggest challenge is to decide what shots get posted.
My kids suggest only the best should go in, but I want everyone in the water to see their shots so I tend to post
shots of less than magazine quality. Which is fine because getting in a Magazine is not my goal at the moment, rather it
is discovering how a camera captures an Image and what makes an extraordinary shot. It all boils down to
painting with light and what I'm most grateful for, the local talent in the water. Thanks for Your Support- -=MER=-
Here is my thought process about what gets posted.------> Click on any image to go to the Session
The categories are as follows:
Sharp
In focus, good white balance, good color and the shot has something to say.
This shot is just 200 pixels, and still Sharp.

Good
Missing one of the four values above.
This Shot is just 300 pixels and tends to lose something.

Average

Probably sucks but made the cut.
This shot is 300 pixels.
